Kanye West, Chemical Brothers & Rodrigo Y Gabriela for Big Chill Festival

Kanye West, Chemical Brothers & Rodrigo Y Gabriela have been announced as headliners at this year's Big Chill Festival.

As in years past, the lineup runs the full gamut from pop through indie and right into underground club music.

Other acts include Scuba, Luke Vibert, Four Tet, Flying Lotus and Fantastic Mr Fox. 2 Many DJs and Calvin Harris will no doubt keep the party rocking, while on the other side of the spectrum, '90s ambient duo Global Communication will DJ (no surprise there, as group member Mark Pritchard has played every edition in the festival's 17-year history, and curated one of this year's stages).

As for guitar-wielding types, former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant will perform with his Band of Joy, and indie favorites like Warpaint, Metronomy and Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti will take the stage as well.

The Stills split up

The Stills have announced they have split up.

The Canadian band confirmed the decision in a statement to their fans after mulling over "how and when" to break the news for a number of months.

"Ultimately, the best decision for each one of us, and in order for each of us to live fully, creatively, and freely, being true to our hearts, this had to happen," the band said.

"Now that the book closes, we can look on the journey and see it as one trip, from beginning to end; one complete and perfectly imperfect universe," they continued.

The Montreal five-piece were together for 11 years. They released three studio albums - 2003's 'Logic Will Break Your Heart', 2006's 'Without Feathers' and their final record 'Oceans Will Rise' in 2008.

Radiohead: "There will be no sequel to King of Limbs"

Radiohead have said that there will be no sequel to the 'The Kings Of Limbs'.

Speaking on BBC 6 Music, guitarist Ed O'Brien said that rumours that the band have a sequel ready to release are incorrect.

Responding to a question about whether the release of new tracks 'Supercollider' and 'The Butcher' on limited-edition vinyl for Record Store Day indicated the band had another album on the way, O'Brien said it did not.

He said: "'The Butcher' is from 'The King Of Limbs' sessions. 'Supercollider' was recorded during that period and finished off after the album came out."

He added: "There are songs that we have started, that we never finished, but there's not like seven or eight finished songs waiting in the wings to be released now, or in the autumn."

There had been speculation that the presence of only eight tracks on 'The King Of Limbs' suggested there would be another album, but O'Brien said that "it's just the way the album is sequenced best" and that "40, 41 minutes is the optimum time we feel for a record".

The Music announce farewell single

The Music have announced they will release a farewell single next Thursday (April 21).

The Leeds band, who announced last month (March 31) that they were splitting up after 10 years together, will release 'Ghost Hands' for free via their official website Themusic.co.uk.

The Music's frontman Rob Harvey said of 'Ghost Hands': "We love the track and it just seemed a shame to leave it gathering dust for ever. It's good to go out with something positive and new and we think it deserves to see the light of day."

The band have also added a second farewell show at O2 Academy Leeds as well as upgrading their London farewell show from O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire to O2 Academy Brixton.

The Music will now play O2 Academy Brixton on August 4 and O2 Academy Leeds on August 5 and 6.
